beside this

man-made lake

seem the same

as beside the sea

Are they telling me

that traces of Jehovah

here reside?

Pieces

Pieces we bring

into this life

and pieces

we leave

Among the pebbles

Among the pebbles

a flower grew

only to perish

in the night
