love's limits
as an arithmetic

love a duty,
a paper promise

Some would give
love a beginning
and have it end
too soon
Some would spend
love like money
as the bills
come due
Some would say
love conquers
but love
does not
Some do know
love only reveals
to those
that can receive
Some do know
that love begins
when doubt
is put away
Some do say
love does end
but even then
love stays.
